With brand new cars you don’t need to have your car serviced until it has been on the road for 3 years, so if you are buying a used car, this is something you will have to consider straight away. A lot of maintenance work is done on your car during its service, this is what keeps your car in prime condition and why a service is a good thing. You can leave the garage knowing that your car is ready and raring. They do a whole number of things when your car is being serviced:
- Check your Tires
- Replace fuel filter
- Replace spark plugs
- Replace engine oil
- Replace oil filter
- Replace air filter
- Engine tune
- Refill brake fluid
- Refill Automatic Transmission Fluid
- Lubricate components
- Refill power steering fluid
The clutch, gearbox, car battery and engine components are also inspected.
